Bali Travel Restrictions Latest Update 2022

After almost 2 years, Bali finally has re-open. Despite there being no international flight that arrives in Bali yet. The new regulations issued by the Indonesian government on October 14, 2021, have allowed foreigners to enter Bali, with an additional requirement. Includes the mandatory quarantine and the new regulations for Visa to Bali.

New Regulations Visa To Bali

Unfortunately, the Visa On Arrivals (VoA) is still suspended not just for travelers. But for those who wish to enter Indonesia. The visitor visa can be applied online. And the process will only take 1 working day. Visitors that wish to enter Indonesia will need to have a sponsor to guarantee their visit.

The B211A visa fee is US$70, but the applicant can’t apply for themself. The rules require that the guarantor and or sponsor are the one who needs to fill out the form. For applicants that apply for the B211A visa for traveling purposes, the travel agent will need to be the sponsor. Thus the fee is not just the US$70, an applicant will have to pay the agent fee.

B211A Visa holder is not allowed to work. Foreign workers should apply for B211B or C312 Visa. While the offshore B211A visa includes for the purpose of tourist, emergency, business, film, medical visit, official visit, yachters.

Entry Requirement & Entry Point

Currently, the existing travel requirement such as how long the mandatory quarantine rules keep changing due to COVID 19 situation. Right now, travelers need to spend 7 days mandatory quarantine.

Entry Requirement
  • Entry Points allowed : Soekarno Hatta Airport (Jakarta), Juanda Airport (East Java) & Sam Ratulangi Airport (North Sulawesi)
  •  Proof of COVID 19 vaccine certificate (full dose) and negative PCR test result on arrival.
  • Visit VISA that complies with laws and regulations.
  • Health insurance with a minimum coverage of USD 100,000 and financial proof.
  • Payment confirmation and proof of booking for the accommodation while staying in Indonesia.
  • Follow the mandatory quarantine rules
