Blue Lagoon Nusa Ceningan Guide & Top Things To Do

Located in the south part of the island. Blue Lagoon in Nusa Ceningan is a picturesque bay with light blue ocean water surrounded by cliffs. This spot has a far view of the ocean with an inaccessible beach and huge corals that look even more dramatic with crescent-shaped cliffs.

The waves here might not be as strong as in the Devil’s tear in Nusa Lembongan. But the waves’ sound is still intense. And the gradation of turquoise water, the tall cliff, and the white sand beach are the reason this spot has a better landscape than the Devil’s Tear.

Blue Lagoon Cliff Viewpoints

The cliffs on both sides have a small trail, meaning that people could walk to get closer to the edge of it. However, until now, there is no safety fence or warning sign, so it’s best to be very cautious. Not only are the waves down there unforgivable, but the rocks are also sharp too.

As thrilling it is to get the best landscape at the edge of the cliff, it’s important to think about safety first. There have been many incidents in other Nusa islands where tourists fall off the cliff. The hard terrain and challenging access put the rescuer in danger of evacuating the victim. To put it in another way, avoid danger and stick with the designated area.

The Blue Lagoon cliff on the right side offers a dramatic sunset view. Besides the cliff bar with an infinity pool, the right-side cliff is the second-best spot to watch the sunset.
