The yard also used as a stage where the Royals enjoy the dance performance. Today, the yard still has the same purpose. As the stage where every night visitors can enjoy Balinese traditional dance performance.
Semanggen lies in the eastern side of the yard. The zone is the place to perform a funeral ceremony on the royals and his relatives.
Pewaregan – The place is also known previously as the king’s kitchen. The entire process of preparing a dish for the royals family is happening right there. While Lumbung is the place where they keep food and as rice storage.
Rangki is the zone where King welcomes his guest. It also a hall where important meeting takes place. While in the north zone there is Saren Agung. Its where the King’s wife’s lived.
Saren Kangin & Saren Kauh is on the east side of the palace. It used as the King’s family residence. There are 2 building in this zone and one of the building is the family temple. Pamerajan Agung is the holiest zone in Ubud palace. The holy building used to honor forefather of King’s Ubud families member.
