If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our Website or book our Services.
1. Definitions
- “Customer,” “you,” “your” refers to the person making the booking and all individuals on whose behalf the booking is made.
- “Services” refers to all travel-related products and services offered by Idetrips.com, including but not limited to tour packages, hotel bookings, transportation, yacht charters, and activity reservations.
- “Itinerary” refers to the confirmed schedule of services provided to the customer after booking.
2. Booking and Contract
- Inquiry: An inquiry or proposal provided by Idetrips.com is not an offer and is subject to availability and price change until a formal booking is made.
- Booking Process: A booking is considered confirmed only after you:
- Accept the final proposal and quote provided by us.
- Make the required deposit or full payment as specified in the invoice.
- Receive a formal booking confirmation email from us.
- Customer Details: You are responsible for providing accurate and complete personal information (full name, date of birth, passport details, dietary restrictions, etc.) for all travelers. We are not liable for any issues arising from incorrect information provided.
3. Payments, Fees, and Pricing
- Pricing: All prices quoted on our Website or in proposals are in US Dollars (USD) or Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change due to currency fluctuations, changes in government taxes, or fuel surcharges until the booking is confirmed.
- Deposit: A non-refundable deposit (typically 30-50% of the total trip cost) is required to secure your booking and initiate reservations.
- Final Payment: The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 30 days before the start of the trip. For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required immediately.
- Payment Methods: We accept payments via bank transfer, credit card, or other methods as specified on the invoice. Any transaction fees are the responsibility of the customer.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
- Customer Cancellation:
- All cancellations must be received in writing via email.
- The following cancellation fees will apply:
- More than 60 days before departure: Loss of deposit.
- 59 – 30 days before departure: 50% of total trip cost.
- Less than 30 days before departure: 100% of total trip cost (no refund).
- No refunds will be given for unused services or early departures from a trip.
- Cancellation by Us: We reserve the right to cancel a trip due to force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics) or if minimum group numbers are not met. In such cases, customers will be offered an alternative trip date, a credit note for future travel, or a full refund, minus any non-recoverable costs incurred by us (e.g., permit fees, hotel deposits).
5. Changes to Itinerary
- By Us: We strive to operate all tours as advertised. However, we reserve the right to modify, alter, or substitute parts of the itinerary, accommodations, or transportation due to unforeseen circumstances, safety concerns, or events beyond our control. We will inform you of significant changes as soon as possible. No refunds will be given for minor changes.
- By You: Changes requested after the booking is confirmed are subject to availability and may incur amendment fees, administrative fees, and price differences.
6. Customer Responsibilities and Liabilities
- Travel Documents: It is your sole responsibility to obtain and carry a valid passport, visa, vaccination certificates, and all other required travel documents for entry into Indonesia and any other destinations on your itinerary.
- Travel Insurance: Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all customers. Your insurance must cover medical expenses, personal accident, repatriation, cancellation, curtailment, and personal liability. Proof of insurance may be requested.
- Health and Fitness: You are responsible for ensuring you are in good health and have an adequate level of fitness for the chosen tour. You must inform us of any medical conditions or disabilities at the time of booking.
- Conduct: You are expected to behave in a manner that is respectful to fellow travelers, guides, local communities, and the environment. We reserve the right to terminate your trip, without refund, if your behavior is deemed to be dangerous, disruptive, or illegal.
7. Our Liability
- Idetrips.com acts as an intermediary between you and the suppliers of the services (hotels, airlines, boat operators, etc.). We exercise care in selecting these suppliers but are not liable for their acts, omissions, negligence, or wilful default.
- We are not liable for any loss, injury, death, damage, delay, or expense arising from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, accident, weather, natural disasters, or mechanical failure.
8. Force Majeure
Idetrips.com shall not be deemed in breach of this agreement or liable for any failure to perform its obligations due to any event beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to pandemics, government travel advisories, border closures, strikes, riots, or acts of terrorism.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this Website (text, graphics, logos, images, itineraries) is the property of Idetrips.com or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content without our prior written permission.
10. Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. All personal information you provide will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
11. Complaints
If you have a complaint during your trip, you must immediately inform our local guide or our office so we can endeavor to resolve the issue. If the issue is not resolved, you must submit a formal complaint in writing to us within 30 days of the trip’s completion.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia.
13. Agreement
By booking a trip with Idetrips.com, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all the Terms and Conditions outlined above.
